INTER series
INTER listens to what arises between people, or when a person meets their surroundings. Each voice belongs to someone and is heard in relation to the others. What emerges as sacred or newly meaningful in this space can quickly fade. The works make room for these moments and for the trust that may grow with them: we can go on from here, even while unsure and without yet knowing where we are going.

RE series
The RE series turns towards the body and renewal: returning, remembering and sounding again. Shared choral material takes different forms in an ironworks landscape, an open pavilion, a whispering spiral and a gallery encountered through headphones. RE-SOUND develops this material in collaboration with Akasaka’s paintings. The series culminated in RE-BIRTH.

Border series
In the Border Series I listened for the traces geopolitics leaves in people, and looked in singing together for a space where one’s own voice and belonging to a place could take shape amid languages, histories and borders.
