Kuka olen?

I am a sound artist and sound designer. My roots are in Ylivieska, Northern Ostrobothnia, but I spent my early years (4-10) in Senegal and my adult years (19-40) in Helsinki. I studied film sound design at Metropolia 2003-2008 (Hki bachelor) and theater sound design at the Theater Academy 2010-2013 (Väs / Master of arts). I work as a sound artist, but I have also worked as a sound designer in repertoire theaters and in the free field of art.

My way of shaking people through art is gentle. I create immersive sound installations on the subject of one’s relationship towards himself and the other. My work is not based on social policy themes but on eros, the connection between us. Along with my immersive works, people can reflect on belonging to the world in a safe space and feel the body, mind and heart of presence.

    haluan sinun äänittävän hyvin herkillä mikrofoneilla autio –
    ituneota tiloja / taloja.

    Tästä tulisi merkkipaaluteoksesi.

    Galleriassa olisi lisäksi esine / kappale jokaisesta autiosta ääniteostilasta, joilla olet äänittänyt äääniteoksen:
    ”Täytetty tila”,

    joka kuvastaa kuolleen aution tilan rituaalimaista metamorpfoosia, reinkarnoitunutta aution tilan henkeä kollektiivisena kokemuksena.

    Olemassaolon kiertokulum ja synnyn manifestia.

    Todistus uuden voiman syntymisestä vanhan kuolleen avulla ja ansiosta.
