Jaakko Autio is a sound artist and designer creating immersive and communal audio works. Originally from Ylivieska, Finland, and partly raised in Senegal, his art blends music, space, and participatory experiences. He has studied sound design in Helsinki and works across theatre, podcasts, and contemporary art. Autio has worked as a sound designer in several city theaters as well as in the free field of art in collaboration with, for example, dance theaters. He has studied sound design at Metropolia and the Theater Academy (University of the Arts) in Helsinki.
