EROS is the second part of a three-part series. The work has been created in collaboration with the Nomad Vocals Choir. The sonic multi-channel choral work takes the viewer to a sound bath, turning the introspection within to enjoy the intimacy of the aesthetic experience. While sinking into the work, he/she might get an inner glimpse to a possible world infused with a connection to other people and to nature within. The installation consists of choral music 16 speakers and a pool of water resonating from sound.

You can touch the eater resonating with the sound.

M_itä? Biennial of Contemporary Art is a new kind of contemporary art exhibition concept in cooperation between the Art Promotion Center and the art museums in Kuopio, Mikkeli and Joensuu. The implementation also involves professional curators, who change from exhibition to exhibition.

About Nomad Vocals

Nomad Vocals forms a 40-member mixed choir ensemble that performs on a project-by-project basis in various ensembles. The choir has 5–10 concerts a year and numerous smaller performances. Thanks to its versatile configurations and project-specific adaptability, Nomad Vocals is a rare, versatile and dynamic artistic ensemble in the Nordic countries.
